Should airstrip be overrun, and an enemy force reaches the core of the base; all troopers are to fall back and defend the closest vital point of the base. Vital points are:
When a trooper is ready to head out and deploy into battle or patrol the wilderness, they have two main ways of leaving base. They may either:
Although players are not allowed to drive them if they’re not a Pilot, players may get in the passenger seats and ask the Pilot or crew to take them into a certain area of the map. If players decide to walk, the process of getting a group is as simple as asking those around you. You must have 2 other friendlies with you to leave the base lawfully, and one of them has to be a medic.
It is recommended for new players to follow others into battle and, if possible, join a battalion. While in a battalion, you may spawn on objectives that are under our control and some scenarios may restrict you from performing certain acts, such as defusing bombs or using specific weapons, until you are the correct regiment.
Depending on which battalion you're part of, you will spawn in different areas of the base. Other friendly faction members will also spawn next to you or nearby you. You may also spawn inside Capture Points controlled by your faction. You will know that you can spawn inside a Capture Point if it's green. Other points such as Simulation Rooms or Medical Bays can always be spawned on.
If players want to join a different battalion or regiment, they usually must attend a tryout. Some regiments may require different variations of recruitment objectives prior or during their tryout, such as written applications or drawn out selection processes.
Tryouts can be held by any Sergeant Major, where attendees are evaluated on many different aspects. If they succeed in passing Tryouts for a battalion, they will be able to join it as a Recruit. Every new member of a regiment must start as a Recruit, and stay as a recruit for 24 hours.
Each battalion may have their own requirements that players must meet to attend their Tryouts. During Tryouts, players may have to compete against other attendees, so it's important that everyone comes in prepared! If players fail Tryouts, they can always try again next time they happen. Answers to tryout questions aren't usually given out, so learn from your mistakes and try to find the answers on your own.
Some battalions offer Private Tryouts, which require players to privately message a CO in order to setup a time for their Tryouts. They may also have to fill in forms or other types of documents to join Private Tryouts.
The Auditorium or Debrief area has rows of seating to more easily divide soldiers into separate sections. The stage section is for Commanders only, so other soldiers should not stand on it without permission. The Auditorium area is also a popular meeting point for grouping up people before tryouts. You may also use the Debrief area to group up for other events.
Briefings & Debriefings are large-scale meetings held in the Auditorium and organized by 65th Legion to discuss the situation on the field. It's the perfect opportunity to group everyone up and to plan the upcoming deployments. Once in a while, a CO or a WO/SqL will call for a Debrief, either using an advert, in Team Chat or the Orders Command (which will show up in red text on the screen). Players will usually see something like this in chat:
As soon as a player sees this announcement from a commanding officer or base command, they must head to the Auditorium or designated area. Each map has its own area, so players must get accustomed to them. RTB is short for "Return to Base" and DB means Debrief. The maximum time given to gather at the Auditorium area is roughly 5 minutes, and those who skip debriefs without permission will be reprimanded/punished.
Once players arrive to the Debrief area, they must line up in one of the lines, or, if they’re a commanding officer, they must go up on the platform. During debriefs, players must keep their weapons holstered and keep quiet. If anyone has anything to say during a Debrief, they must type “PTS” in chat and wait for a CO to give them permission to speak. PTS is short for "Permission-to-speak". When a CO announces that “PTS is active”, you must follow this procedure as well. Debriefs cannot be done in quick succession, as they have a cooldown of 2 hours.
Those constantly disregarding Debrief rules may end up being arrested by Military Police or NPU JURY, and reported to their respective COs.
Debriefs go through the following topics in the listed order:
Debriefs end with promotions, during which players may only recommend others for promotion and never themselves (or they will be punished). Demotions are a harsh topic of discussion, so commanding officers recommend players to private message them when they have a demotion in mind.
If a player gets accepted for promotion, they approach the podium and are praised by the officer, either receiving their new rank then & there or after the debrief. Players may not recommend the person who recommended them for promotion during the same Debrief session.
