We at santos.gg take pride in allowing players to customize their game settings. Instead of being forced to use unpleasant light settings and siren modifications, we offer you the choice of what you see and hear while playing our server.
Below you will find some third-party addons that we can recommend to you in which you can independently install.
¶ Better Visuals
The Better Lighting mod enhances the lights shown in-game everywhere, not just on police cars. This will affect even the computer within your cruiser, the radio on your belt, etc.
As quoted by the mod author;
Please note this is an extremely bright modification compared to other mods. This mod is not for the easily blinded. Use only if you enjoy very bright visuals like myself. This mod does require that your Shaders and Post FX must be on high or above.
The settings used in the screenshot and video are Shaders on High and Post FX on Ultra.

- Download the Better Visuals mod pack.
- Navigate to your FiveM Application Data folder.
- The easiest way to do this is by pressing your WINDOWS key and searching
FiveM. - Right click on
FiveM, and clickOpen file location. - This will bring you to your FiveM shortcut. Right click on it once more, and click
Open file locationonce more. - Open the
FiveM Application Datafolder.
- The easiest way to do this is by pressing your WINDOWS key and searching
- Navigate to
citizen/common/datawithin the FiveM Application Data folder. - Open your
Better Visuals.zipand navigate inside the folder within the .zip. - Open the
Mod Settingsfolder. - Choose whichever setting you want out of the three options; Dim, Bright, and Blinding.
- Drag and drop the
visualsettings.datfile within the folder of your choosing into theFiveM Application Data/citizen/common/datafolder.
You have successfully installed the addon! 🎉
