Uniform Guidelines
CADETS & PROBATIONARIES: All Los Santos County Sheriff's Office Deputies with the rank of Cadet MUST have their Patrol Uniforms set the Badges / Logos field to use #74.
This red stripe is required for Cadets & Probationary Officers, however females are exempt from this at the moment.
VEST APPROPRIATION: All Los Santos County Sheriff's Department deputies cannot wear a vest at all times unless instructed to do so with their uniform.
1.) The bodycam and radio must be present on your uniform unless you are responding to a high-threat situation, in which you can then wear a plate carrier or bulletproof vest that is allowed at your rank.
2.) The bodycam and radio must be present on your uniform unless you are directing traffic, in which you can then wear a high visibility vest.
Below you will find a list of ranks and what is unlocked at that rank relative to their uniform. Ask a Supervisor or Command member if you have any questions or concerns.
Probationary Officers must keep their Badges/Logos set to #74; this should be a red stripe visible on their shoulderboards.
Cadets may only wear the hats shown, no other hats are available at this rank. This hat can be found under Hats/Helmets at #132.
The Standard Duty Belt is widely provided across the state to all law enforcement officers, more commonly the Cadets and Recruits of each department.
This can be found under Shirt/Accessory at #39.
The High Visibility vest should only be worn when performing traffic enforcement, roadside assistance, or performing a traffic stop on the highway.
This can be found under Body Armor at #11, press ENTER until you see the orange.
Plate Carriers can only be worn when responding to, arriving on, taking part in, or consistently dealing with calls & scenes that require it, such as shots fired.
This can be found under Body Armor at #18, press ENTER until you see the white "SHERIFF" text with the blank American flag.
Probationary Officers may set their Badges/Logos to #1; this should be a blank shoulderboard.
Police Officer III may set their Badges/Logos to #75.
Police Officer II may set their Badges/Logos to #76.
The Advanced Duty Belt is a more personally configured duty belt for the officers & deputies that know what they are doing.
This can be found under Shirt/Accessory at #44.
Police Officer III may set their Badges/Logos to #77.

Senior Police Officers may set their Badges/Logos to #13 for long sleeve uniforms, and #16 for short sleeve uniforms.
The Operator Duty Belt is a better oriented kit for veteran law enforcement who know a thing or two.
This can be found under Shirt/Accessory at #47.
Corporals may set their Badges/Logos to #13 for long sleeve uniforms, and #16 for short sleeve uniforms, both using the second variant that shows a Corporal insignia.
Corporals may now wear the hats shown to match their new alternative patrol uniforms. This hat can be found under Hats/Helmets at #132.
Sergeants may set their Badges/Logos to #13 for long sleeve uniforms, and #16 for short sleeve uniforms, both using the third variant.
The high threat vest shown above, the Heavy Plate Carrier with Taser, can only be worn if the officer is atleast the rank of Sergeant I or is apart of the Gang Task Force.
Lieutenants may set their Badges/Logos to #45.
Captains may set their Badges/Logos to #45, using the second variant.
The Commander may set their Badges/Logos to #45, using the third variant.
The Deputy Chief may set their Badges/Logos to #45, using the fourth variant.
The Assistant Chief may set their Badges/Logos to #45, using the fifth variant.
The Chief of Police may set their Badges/Logos to #45, using the sixth variant.
