"Can't say I blame you Commander Tano, but all the same, you're under arrest."
― Commander Fox
The Coruscant Guard served under the leadership of Clone Commander CT-1010, nicknamed "Fox" and Clone Commander CT-1100, nicknamed “Thorn”.
The Coruscant Guard was a corps of elite clone shock troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic, organized to serve as a military police force and protect the Galactic Republic capital planet of Coruscant. During the Clone Wars, Commander Fox became one of the most decorated soldiers in the Republic Military.
The 65th Legion serves a unique role on Age of the Republic, acting as the main policing force for players to follow in line behind. We are an elite battalion stationed mainly on the Republic capital Coruscant. Our main duty is to enforce the protocols and guidelines set forth by High Command and the Galactic Senate as a military police entity. It is our sole purpose to ensure that regulations are followed and order is maintained.
Keeping this goal in mind, a Shock Trooper must also follow these rules and regulations to the letter. We enforce rules and regulations on our fellow clones, therefore we must also follow them and perhaps even set an example beyond all other battalions.
The 65th Legion currently consists of two sub-divisions. While heavily dependent on your chosen kit, these sub-divisions are used for organization purposes when dividing the regiment into smaller squads if a situation were to call for it.
- Operations, specializing in protocol and procedure fulfillment. Acts as the strong arm of the 65th Legion.
- Overwatch, specializing in base operations and logistical management. Also in-charge of correctional facilities.
- Forensics, specializing in all aspects of the medical field & philosophy. Carries out all forensics procedures.
- Overwatch, the higher-ups within the chain of command who specialize in corruption and high level cases or conflicts within the GAR.

- Pauldrons & other neck-mounted gears are restricted to Sergeant (SGT) and higher.
- Kamas & other waist-mounted gears are restricted to Second Lieutenant (2LT) and higher.
- The 65th Legion is to be stationed across the brig, command bridge, and control tower depending on optimal command or defense; or if there are a surplus of 65th Legion on, there may be an equal spread with patrols.
- The 65th Legion is expected to excel at security and threat prevention, as well as be readibly prepared to lead-by-law at any moment and on any front.

¶ Base Command
Base Command defaults to the highest ranking 65th Legion Trooper. If the 65th Trooper selected for command is inexperienced in comparison to a Regimental Commander or Command Member, they may & are suggested to relinquish base command to that Command Member until a higher ranking 65th is available.
Base Command's purpose is to keep the base flowing and secure. As Base Command, you are responsible for:
- Maintain the security of the base and the Republic's assets first & foremost.
- Maintain the security of each outpost and the Republic's assets second.
- Oversight of the operation of main gate and auxiliary hangars, as well as all unclaimable areas or simulation rooms.
- Oversee and manage the ins & outs of patrols, as well as manage those who have been given permission to leave.
Use the Grand Army Code to determine infractions and laws you can quote against offending troopers. Remember that roleplay always stumps ruleplay, and you (primary, arresting officer) are left with final discretion in the majority of cases (given that they are minor/non-problematic situations)
¶ Using Handcuffs/Binders
- Swap and hold your Handcuffs. (They can be found in your 1st slot.)
- Aim directly at a player within distance and use LEFT CLICK to restrain them.
- Once the player is restrained, you can use RIGHT CLICK to toggle your tether.
- Tether or tethering is the state of dragging or forcing the restrained player's movement to follow you.
- Keep in mind you must have your aim directly on the player for any restraint actions to take effect.
- Approach the jail warden with the cuffed player nearby. You must be dragging the suspect.
- Press E on the warden and select I want to arrest a suspect. (or similar dialogue).
- Click on the button corresponding to the suspect you want to arrest.
- Enter in the reason for the arrest corresponding to the criminal code charges.
- Make sure you use the abbreviated version of the charge name, such as:
- 4-1A
- 3-4B(A) - (A) is a symbol for an aggravated charge.
Mandatory training is a key part of the 501st, keeping in shape and up to the task of each day on the frontline engaging the seperatist forces to keep them from overtaking the Republic in the battle for diplomatic advantage.
Every weekend we hold mandatory training, showing up is required and beneficial. You can receive recommendations and promotions at a guarantee upon completion. Intensive training is given with an interesting twist on the orthodox procedure. Utilising the loss of communication through all scenarios the 501st have a way of including very much so elite variants of their simulations into every training step.
Depending on the command and your chosen kit, these may also be mandatory and provide different benefits, however, company training as mentioned above is a vital part of staying with your squad in terms of battle knowledge.
Keeping up to date on procedures, orders and signals that your company introduces to follow. This ensures utmost efficiency on the battlefield regardless of the situation and greatly uses the non-communication expectations of the 501st during dire situations.
Those who make it to the title of Officer are to keep that level of professionalism throughout, dropping from this level that achieved you the position could risk demotion. A percentage of the regiments smooth running is up to the ideals of the Officers, ad they must be up to standard. Officer Training, although not set to a date, is regular and happens to ensure that Republic Command do not see a reason to demote during the official Officer Training program simulations. They are a requirement of being an Officer, missing sessions without good reason will result in removal.
