You may pick up jobs from NPCs at the City Services blips on your map! Some jobs are available with specific NPCs!
Players may proceed to the City Hall and speak to the clerk on the right side. The very nice lady will allow you to sign on as Garbage Retrieval, and you may proceed down to South Los Santos to retrieve your Garbage truck. Using the garbage truck, you'll drive to locations and retrieve garbage. Garbage has a chance of giving you Crypto Sticks.
The Recycling Plant can be found in Paleto Bay, marked on the map with a recycling icon. Within the Recycling Plant, players can clock in at the computer in the back of the warehouse and can begin moving boxes. Each box moved from the pile to the delivery door will give you a bunch of materials such as Copper, Rubber, Iron, Plastic, Glass, and may even have a small chance of giving you a Crypto Stick.
When Crypto Sticks are obtained, they can be taken to a home in this area to be hacked.
When hacking, the player will need to match 2 series of code using WASD and the other using ↑←↓→. The process of hacking involves the player matching their codes in the randomized code grid below using their controls to find the hidden matching code. Once both codes are matched, the player receives a random amount of cryptocurrency to their cryptowallet.
First, you'll need some scuba gear. To purchase some, head to the Tongva Valley Convenience Store at Postal 5017 for $2,500. Once you have scuba gear, you can locate today's diving area on your map as it changes daily.
While diving, you have about 2 minutes and will be given one warning before your tank becomes exposed. Once exposed (The tank/gear is completely empty/no durability), it is trash and cannot be used again.
Scuba Gear that is not completely used up can regenerate air upon resurfacing and being on land for a period of time.
You can retrieve coral while diving which can be sold. Other treasures may be possible to find.
