¶ Setting up your radio
- Retrieve a radio from your Department Armory. RIGHT CLICK the radio to add it to your inventory.
- Open your inventory with TAB and double click to open your radio.
- Utilize the knobs to reach desired look and volume.
- Click on the middle box where the frequency would go, and press your RIGHT ARROW key.
- Enter your name, then click change.
- Press your RIGHT ARROW key once more, and enter your callsign then click change.
- Once you have set your name & callsign, use the LEFT ARROW key to return to the frequency input.
¶ Getting on a frequency
Before leaving the station everyday, every officer must be on radio. Press TAB to open up inventory and double click to open your radio. Once your radio is open, follow these steps:
- Click on the top right knob to turn on the radio.
- Enter
1into the center box, then click change to connect to frequency 1. - Ensure the Channel is set to
LS Dispatch.
- Other departments may use different frequencies.
You can then use LALT to speak on radio.
